When I was about four years old, my favorite book to check out from the library was called "Molly Goes to the Library." This must have been a sign of things to come, because ever since then, I have been passionate about libraries and the important roles they play in the community.
I graduated from North Central with a bachelor's in English Literature, and pursued my Master of Library and Information Science from St. Kate's.
Some of my hobbies (aside from the obvious - reading) include spending time with my husband and friends, frequenting local bookstores and coffee shops, and baking.

When I was in elementary school, I struggled with reading and dreaded picking up any books. (I was learning to do so in my first and second languages at the same time) My aunt gave me the Junie. B Jones series as a birthday present. I did not stop reading them until I had finished all 29 books. Ever since then, I have loved reading and exploring libraries. I am deeply passionate about learning and helping others.
I graduated from North Central University with a bachelor's in Biblical and Theological Studies and my master's in Biblical and Theological Studies degree, and I am currently completing my Master of Library and Information Science at the University of Alabama.
Some of my favorite pastimes include spending time with my husband and our puppy, Finn and cat named Toothless, reading, gardening, and cooking.

Growing up, it was tough to find me without a book in hand. I was an absolute fiend for the American Girl Doll books, and the fervor only grew with me. My love for libraries bloomed a bit later, my hometown public library a bit too small and a bit too far to think of packing up my siblings and I for, but T.J. Jones changed everything. I find myself yearning to make libraries seen and heard by their communities, and I hope to cultivate a passion for reading within those communities.
I graduated from North Central University with a bachelor's in English Literature, and am planning to pursue my master’s in Library and nformation Science within the next year or so.
In my free time I love playing and listening to music (I am in a community orchestra!), spending quality time with my family and friends (and cat), being outside (I’m also in a beach volleyball league!), and, of course, reading.
