APA - American Psychological Association "The American Psychological Association is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States. APS - Association for Psychological Science The Association for Psychological Science (previously the American Psychological Society) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of scientific psychology and its representation at the national and international level. CAPS - Christian Association for Psychological Studies CAPS is an organization of Christians who work in the mental health/behavioral science fields. It also publishes the Journal of Psychology and Christianity.
Society for Christian Psychology A division of the American Association of Christian Counselors, their stated mission is "to promote the development of a distinctly Christian psychology (including theory, research, and practice) that is based on a Christian understanding of human nature." NIMH - National Institute of Mental Health A division of the U.S. government's National Institutes of Health. Their site has a great deal of information and research relating to all areas of mental health.
