Administration for Children & Families The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is a division of the Department of Health & Human Services. We promote the economic and social well-being of children, families, individuals and communities with leadership and resources for compassionate, effective delivery of human services.
American Association of Suicidology Founded in 1968, AAS promotes research, public awareness programs, public education and training for professionals and volunteers. In addition, AAS serves as a national clearinghouse for information on suicide. The membership of AAS includes mental health and public health professionals, researchers, suicide prevention and crisis intervention centers, school districts, crisis center volunteers, survivors of suicide loss, attempt survivors, and a variety of lay persons who have in interest in suicide prevention.
Association of Social Work Boards The Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) is the nonprofit organization composed of and owned by the social work regulatory boards and colleges of all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, and all 10 Canadian provinces. We are the only nonprofit organization dedicated to social work regulation. Our mission is to strengthen protection of the public by providing support and services to our member boards.
Clinical Social Work Association The Clinical Social Work Association (CSWA) is a national individual membership organization dedicated to providing essential services, products, professional support, and national identity for Clinical Social Workers.
Minnesota Board of Social Work The Legislature established the Board in 1987, and by law, it exists to perform the duties necessary to promote and protect the public health, safety, and welfare through the licensure and regulation of persons who practice social work in the state. The Board is an independent state agency. The Board of Social Work holds social workers accountable by ensuring that licensed social workers are qualified, professional, ethical, and accountable. It does this initially through the examination and licensure process and, on an ongoing basis, by license renewal: continuing education: supervision requirements to ensure continued competence: and through the complaint resolution process when professional standards are not met.
National Association of Social Workers The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with 132,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies.
NIMH - National Institute of Mental Health A division of the U.S. government's National Institutes of Health. Their site has a great deal of information and research relating to all areas of mental health.
North American Association of Christian Social Workers NACSW's mission is to equip its members to integrate Christian faith and professional social work practice. To fulfill its mission, NACSW offers a wide range of services and benefits to its approximately 1,700 individual and organizational members.
School Social Work Association of America The School Social Work Association of America empowers school social workers and promotes the profession of school social work to enhance the social and emotional growth and academic outcomes of all students.
Minnesota Department of Human Services The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) helps provide essential services to Minnesota's most vulnerable residents. Working with many others, including counties, tribes and nonprofits, DHS helps ensure that Minnesota seniors, people with disabilities, children and others meet their basic needs and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Kayla Pierce (Social Psychologist) Kayla Pierce is a kids’ ministry director at SouthGate Church (AG) in South Bend, Indiana, and a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at the University of Notre Dame. As a mixed-methods social psychologist, Pierce's research focuses on cognition and emotion, group processes, and social and computer-mediated interaction.
